Dr. Timothy Gunn is a licensed clinical psychologist with primary interest in the assessment and treatment of children and young adults. Dr. Gunn completed his predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship training at the Children's Hospital of Orange County in Orange, California. During this time he worked with a variety of children and young adults suffering from comorbid psychological and medical disorders. His primary rotation was on the Oncology floor, although he also specialized in pediatric neuropsychology, the assessment of children in the zero to five age range, and completed rotations in psychopharmacology and the bulimia/anorexia nervosa clinic. All services were provided in Spanish or English depending on the needs of the patient and their family.

After his postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Gunn was employed as an assistant professor at Azusa Pacific University (APU) where his teaching including classes on child therapy, assessment/psychometrics and psychobiology. He was also employed as the associate clinical director of a multidisciplinary neurodevelopment clinic that provided giftedness, neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young adults. Dr. Gunn's assessment interests include pediatric neuropsychology and the assessment of developmental disorders in infants and toddlers. His treatment interests are very diverse, but especially include treatment of minor children with externalizing behavior disorders. His research interests include the neuropsychological correlates of behavior disorders, cognitive rehabilitation, and the remediation of learning and behavior disorders in children.
