Dr. Sanders-Hayes is a licensed psychologist in the state of California and joined Persona Neurobehavior Group in 2009. Her clinical background includes individual, group, and family psychotherapy as well as psychodiagnostic testing. She has provided these services to a culturally diverse population of children and adults with a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal challenges. Her current areas of clinical focus include psychological and neuropsychological testing/assessments, workman’s compensation assessments, and bariatric assessments. She also provides consultative services to individuals, families and caregivers struggling with psychological consequences of traumatic brain injury, dementia, and other acquired neurological conditions.
Dr. Sanders-Hayes completed her doctoral degree at APA accredited Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. She completed her pre and post doctoral residencies at APA approved Kaiser Permanente Fresno wherein training emphasized psychotherapy as well as psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Sanders-Hayes earned a Master of Science Degree from Tennessee Stated University and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and Spanish from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.
